The base is located in the area of Port Bulgaria West Burgas, right next to the ferry terminal connecting the town of Burgas with the city of Batumi, Georgia, managed by PB Management.

The infrastructure includes:

• Quay wall and cranes, immediately next to the cold storage facility, allowing direct loading and unloading: vessel – reefer ship;
• Ramps for loading and unloading cars and railway wagons;
• Electric trucks and freight elevators;
• Convenient road and rail connections;
• Base

The cold-storage  activity is provided by 14 cold rooms with a total capacity of 48,000 m3 anda 200 m2 covered storage base. In the cold rooms, the temperature is maintained in the range of +17 to -27 degrees Celsius, which makes it possible to store both deep-frozen and chilled foods. The temperature range is maintained by modern installations and is fully automated. Recorders allow tracking of the temperature in each room for a period of 24 months. A HACCP quality management system has been implemented, as well as the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The personnel responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Refrigeration and Storage Facility is highly qualified.
